This error occurs when your game client can't reach the server, or lose the current connection to it.

Solutions:

First solution:

Reset your interface to make sure your files and add-ons are not corrupted.

  1. Go to your game files
  2. Move your "Interface" folder to a place where you will find it later
  3. Restart the game without the "Interface" folder
  4. If it works, reinstall the addons in the new "Interface" folder that the game created

Second solution:

Reset your network devices to make sure your router is not overwhelmed with data.

  1. Turn off all computers connected to the modem/router.
  2. Turn off and unplug your modem, and your router if you are using one.
  3. Leave your devices unplugged for at least 1 minute.
  4. Plug your devices back in and then turn them back on.
  5. Wait until their respective initialization processes are completely finished (stable connection and absence of abnormal flashing diodes).
  6. Start the computer and let the initialization process continue completely.

Third solution:

Release and renew your IP and purge your DNS to resolve any network conflicts.

  1. From the desktop, press the Windows key and type CMD.
  2. Right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
  3. Type ipconfig /release at the command prompt. - Wait a few seconds for the IP to be released.
  4. Type ipconfig /renew at the command prompt.
  5. Wait a few seconds for your IP address to be restored.
  6. Type ipconfig /flushdns at the command prompt.
  7. Close the command prompt and attempt to connect.

Fourth solution:

Update your drivers and operating system to resolve compatibility issues.

  1. Operating System
    • Type "Update" in the Windows search bar and click on "Windows Update Settings"
    • Click on "Check for updates"
    • Make the updates found
  2. Graphics drivers

Fifth solution:

If you are using a wireless connection, optimize your Internet connection to avoid any connection problems.

If possible, try to connect your PC directly to your box in Ethernet

Sixth solution:

Try to close all applications in the background to resolve software conflicts.

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape simultaneously
  2. Close the background applications by clicking on them and then on "End task".

Seventh solution:

  1. Temporarily disable your anti-virus before restarting the game
  2. If it works, reactivate it and add the installation folder as an exception to the anti-virus
